Don and I became friends during Beast and our plebe year. He was the strong, quiet partner who helped this hick from Oregon immeasurably during interesting times. Regrettably, our paths did not cross during our careers in the Air Force. But I always felt a deep kinship to Don even though we were apart. I knew that I could always count on him for counsel and friendship whenever needed. I will miss him very much. Well Done, my friend. |
