Sept, 22. As our country faces its greatest foe, this heroic letter from John Hottell to his wife has given me strenth at a time when I feel very small. Our country has given my family more than anyone has a right to expect. We must defend this country (which has given us everything we live for), even to the point of making the greatest sacrifice. John, Long after you died protecting our country, your words continue to support the very things you lived for. God rest your soul. |
