| Jeff Kleb remains in my memory as one of the sparkplugs of our class, a great friend, an extravert of boundless energy and talent, and one who kept our spirits up. His contributions to our '64 fraternity and to the nation are indeed world class. Beyond our cadet days, I recall fondly our friendship during the Ft. Benning training period following graduation. We had occasion to socialize and sing. Jeff was fun. His death comes as a shock, mostly because I remember him as a pillar of strength, one who I assumed would always be there, leading and serving. May God uphold his family and know that his memory will forever inspire me. |
