Jody was my Beast Roommate. Jody, the Prepster, ever so calm on R-Day. Watching the rest of us run through the checklist, but always there to lend a hand as we "squared away" the room and our early christmas gifts from USMA. Jody & I shared quite a few laughs during Beast and often over the four years. He always seemed to have a smile on his face. After Graduation, as we all went our own ways to join the Army, I am sorry to say we lost touch. But, with the web, contact was regained and about a year ago Jody & I were talking on the phone; it felt as though we had talked often over the years never missing a step. I wish we had been able to see one another again, yet I know we will one day. May God Bless Jody & his family. |
