Be Thou At Peace

| Dick and I served together on Battalion staff in 2nd Regiment while at West Point. We quickly became friends, to the point that he visited me at my home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan during a Winter break. In my opinion, he was the perfect cadet, the perfect gentleman, and someone who really cared about humanity. This man had the type of honor that would carry you through the most dire of circumstances. My only regret is that I was not able to connect with him after graduation. Swift travels, Dick! |
