I didn't know Brian for a long period of time, but it was long enough to know that whenever I was around him I was in the presence of a very special human being. I always felt a sense of warmth in his presence, particularly as reflected by his passive voice and calm demeanor. In serving with Brian during UFL, Korea, I marveled at his leadership and professionalism. He presented several Soldiers and myself with his 18th MEDCOM CDR's coin. A token that I cherished at the time it was presented, but it now takes on more special meaning for it symbolizes fond memories of a comrade who exemplified what it truly is be a Soldier. Brian its no doubt that you're be missed, I only hope that I can share a foxhole with you in the heavens above. Tom |
