I served with COL Allgood for three years as one of his medics in the 3rd Ranger Battalion. During that time, I was witness to all his many fine qualities in good times and bad. If I had to pick the one thing I admired most about him, I would have to say it was the genuine respect he showed everyone. His leadership reflected how he lived his life. There are very few people in this world I respect, or wish to emulate more. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Allgood, Wyatt and family. MSG Christopher L. Jenkins |
