Charlie and I were squad-mates during Beast Barracks. I will always remember him as a gentle giant--a big man with a big heart. He was a friend to all and would bend over backwards to help anyone. At our 20-year class reunion last October, I was thrilled to see Charlie's class ring on display in the class ring collection at the library and it brought back fond memories of Charlie. |
