Jim: On this first Memorial Day since your passing, I will be thinking of you while taking my children to Maryland's Veterans Cemetery to plant flags at the gravesites of brave souls like yourself. I will have the honor of telling them about you, Neu Ulm/Hohenfels and Afghanistan. While they may not get it at first, some day they will know how lucky they are to have men like you.
