| Drew was a rare combination of prior service and corps squadder (varsity athlete). Drew ("Grandpa"), Mike Terry and I spent a lot of time together plebe year on the cross country and track teams. He took the time to "square us away" as he called it, and he dropped many elbows. He ushered me to a bathroom and fended off upper class harrassment along the way after I was forced to scarf down an entire Peach Cobbler at lunch. He just knew how to take care of us kids. WELL DONE Drew. |
