James Matthew Gurbisz

West Point, 2002

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Vincent, Marion and Edward Welsh on November 18, 2005:

To the Gurbisz family,

So sorry for the loss your family has suffered. The time we spent with Jimmy and the Gurbisz family during our days in the Eatontown Baseball League was already special to us. With Ken as the manager, the team had a lot of fun, learned a lot about life, teamwork and even some baseball. Jimmy had all the talent even as a ten, eleven and twelve year old. Jimmy hit the very first home run at the new field in 80 Acres Park. But he didn?t let his talent go to his head. Well, maybe a little. His teammates looked up to him. It was apparent even then that he would always be out in front, leading the way.

We will keep Jimmy and his family in our thoughts and prayers. Jimmy will be missed. He will never be forgotten.
