Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bill Morkes on November 18, 2005:

I first met Jim during Re-Orgy week in 1998. We were all sweating inside the duty room - Jim just a little more than the rest. We were all stressing over how we were going to deliver some laundry to some firstie, and Jim made the timely, normal, and yet hilarious observation about what a ridiculous situation we were in - 30 young adults sweating our asses off in a 15x20 room trying to determine how best to carry a sack of clothes down the hall.
All the eulogies say the same thing - that Jim had a vibrant personality and great spirit... and this is just one example. I haven't seen Jim since graduation, but I wish I had. He was a great man and an outstanding friend. I am truly a better person for knowing him and the world is a weaker place without him.
My sincerest regrets go to Victoria and the Gurbisz Family. You are all in my prayers.
