As the mother of a deployed soldier, my heart bleeds for you. You are living the reality all of us fear. But I wanted to share the following hymn stanzas with you: "Oh, may your soldiers, faithful, true and bold, Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old And win with them the victors crown of gold. Allelulia The golden evening brightens in the west; Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest; Sweet is the calm of paradise the blest. Allelulia" Adam is at rest now. May knowing our Savior's love and care for your faithful warrior, Adam, and for you comfort you in this painful time. |
