I had the honor of spending three years in the same company as Dan. As cliche as this sounds, everyone liked and respected Dan. He represented the best qualities of E4. It was no surprise to anyone that he was selected as the Regimental Commander our Firstie Year or that he graduated at the top of his class. Dan, you are a hero. You fought bravely for things that few Americans understand. I am honored to say that I served with you and to call you my friend. We will always remember your sacrifice for this country. Well done. Be thou at peace. |
