Still haven't really come to terms with the fact that the news I heard was true. Daren was my company mate, grappling teammate, one of my company commanders, and the person who introduced me to my fiance. To say that Daren possessed infectious motivation is the understatement of the year. When you really wanted to mope and be miserable (you know- just because) his attitude was almost annoying; he made you be in a good mood despite your better efforts. We'll all miss you buddy. |
