Jack Heinmiller never knew how the little things he did made the biggest impact on people. I know how much he helped out his squadmates on road marches, and I can attest to his ability to help three girls at once, me and two others. I wasn't even in his platoon, yet he helped me and always had an encouraging word and that awesome smile- even on road marches. He never complained, never seemed to get tired form helping us with our rucks...just smiled and told us to keep going. The dazzling smile and giving spirit that Jack had will never be forgotten by any of those who knew him. My prayers go to his family and to his company here- G3. |
