Be Thou At Peace

| The last time I saw him was at the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters. I did not know that he would be there until I saw him and he saw me and said, "Hey Jim how are you doing?" I simply responded great and it was great to see you... The last time I had seen him was in Berlin as my wife and I were departing. He was my battalion commander. I will never forget him and he was one of the finest men and commanders I have ever known. Rest in peace Sir...you keep God safe. Jim |
