Dan, even though it's been over 6 years, I carry your memory with me everyday. Wherever I go, I constantly meet people who served with you. They always tell me how great of an officer you were and about the profound impact you had on the lives of those around you. I am very proud to have called you one of my closest and best friends and as my girls grow older, I look forward to telling them your story. You are missed dearly and I never ever forget. Grip hands. "I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above, Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love; The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test, That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best; The love that never falters, the love that pays the price, The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice." |
